Best Frameless Ski Goggles 2024

In recent years, ski goggles have begun harnessing the power of various technologies to become more effective at helping skiers find their way safely through treacherous trails affected by unpredictable weather conditions!

From anti-fog and impact-resistant tech to incredibly comfortable fleece-lined foam padding to all kinds of lenses that have the ability to tackle any light conditions you may encounter, ski goggles have evolved well past simply getting the job done and moved on to full-on performance enhancement.

One of the coolest evolutions in ski goggles in recent years-- and the one which we’re highlighting in this list -- is frameless goggles. By expanding your range of sight well beyond what a traditional pair of goggles offers, frameless ski goggles help you to increase your view of the mountain. This enhances your ability to tackle any obstacles that the slopes may throw at you with a greater level of safety.

We love frameless goggles, not only because they can make skiing easier, but because they also look exceptionally cool. That’s why we’ve combed through a ton of different pairs that feature some of the biggest names in ski gear to create this list of our four favorite frameless goggle selections for 2024!

What Are Frameless Goggles?

In their efforts to provide consumers with the maximum range of vision possible -- while still shielding eyes from wind, ice, and UV radiation -- the ski gear powers-that-be one day decided to ditch frames altogether in favor of a ski goggle that is mostly just the lenses. Hence, frameless goggles were born!

Not only do these ski goggles allow you to see clearly, but they also make the goggles more lightweight. Some even offer the ability to swap lenses with greater ease in order to adjust to various light conditions. If you can’t tell, we love frameless goggles!

We do absolutely love the look, but the wide range of features -- including easy-to-use magnetic interchangeable lenses -- is the main reason that we just had to include these goggles on this list.

Features

The Anon Sync offers a lightweight frame with full perimeter channel venting and triple-layer face foam to ensure all-day comfort. They’re over-the-glass compatible, and the M-Fusion Magnetic Assisted Lens Change technology makes it, so you can easily swap out your lenses to account for changing weather conditions on the mountain. They’re not quite as wallet-friendly as the Glade Challenger, but they are below the $200 mark, and that’s not bad at all for a pair of frameless goggles. And with the ability to swap lenses out, you’re certainly getting plenty of bang for your buck when you purchase a pair.

A laundry list of performance features will always rack up the tab on a pair of ski goggles. Such is the case with the Zeal Portals, so we understand if the price point is a little out of reach for some. However, we assure you that if you do make the investment, you won’t be disappointed.
